The STid ARCS-B/BT is a flagship “Standard” footprint reader from the Architect® Blue range, offering the ultimate in multi-factor authentication and mobile connectivity. By integrating Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) and NFC, this reader allows users to use their smartphones as secure virtual credentials via the STid Mobile ID® app, supporting five instinctive identification modes (including Tap Tap and hands-free).
Designed for high-security environments, the ARCS-B/BT features a capacitive keypad for PIN-based entry and a physical RFID interface for MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 cards. It is equipped with an EAL5+ certified crypto-processor for hardware-protected secure storage and is configured for Secure Read-Only operations. Its modular, “Upgradable” design ensures long-term scalability. The unit is built to survive extreme conditions with an IK10 vandal-proof rating, IP65 weatherproofing, and an accelerometer-based tamper detection system that deletes security keys if the reader is compromised.
